Roundtable July 12th "This Proforma Needs Help! Strategies for Reducing Costs"
We are pleased to announce our next installment in the 2012 Affordable Housing Roundtable Series taking place on Thursday, July 12, 2012. The topic, "This Proforma Needs Help! Strategies for Reducing Costs" will take place on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. at the NTC Command Center, Meeting Room 1. How can we get the most out of every dollar invested in affordable housing? In this session, a developer presents a hypothetical case study and challenges a contractor and architects to help reduce the financing gap and create a proforma that works. We'll look beyond the traditional "value engineering" that is often just a downward adjustment in specifications and seek the big ideas - including some new governmental policies we'd like to see - that can keep costs down in this era of scarce financing resources.
