Merritt is based in Oakland, California and is the only California-focused nonprofit housing credit syndicator in the state. Since 1998, Merritt has invested in 11 affordable housing properties in Southern California creating or preserving nearly 700 units of affordable housing across six Southern California counties. Overall, Merritt has invested in 78 affordable housing properties creating or rehabilitating over 5,200 units of affordable housing throughout the state.
