West Hollywood Community Housing Corporation (WHCHC) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1986, located in West Hollywood California. WHCOC develops, owns, operates and advocates for safe, decent and affordable housing for people with limited income, including those with special needs, which enhances the community and supports economic diversity. The Director of Fund Development is currently envisioned as a contracted part-time professional position that reports to the Executive Director. This will be the first time WHCHC has engaged a Director of Fund Development. In cooperation with board members, the Executive Director, and other staff members, the Development Director provides leadership in developing, expanding, and sustaining the organization’s base of support among foundation grantors, business sponsors, individual donors, volunteers, and others. The Development Director is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of all aspects of the resource development function, especially but not limited to fundraising and public and constituent relation.
